The Charlevoix Lighthouse “I” Like it White. This magnet measures 2 inches by 3.5 inches. The image is a reproduction of a painting I did… and am still doing, because I like the lighthouse better white (here we go again… if you’ve been looking around on my site).
The Charlevoix Lighthouse “I” Like it White is a painting of the lighthouse from the pavilion at Lake Michigan Beach when it was still white. It is one of my favorite views of the lighthouse. I like the way the lighthouse is nestled in the foliage from the pavilion on the south side of the beach just over the stone wall where you stand down on the sand in the beach grass. This painting is a study for a scene I did on a garden bench titled “We See What You See… Just Differently” sponsored by the North West Michigan Red Cross as a fundraiser. It had multiple paintings of the lighthouse by nine different artists on it showing they different styles and ways the different artists interpreted the lighthouse.
