The Story
My oldest son Connor, has a girlfriend who has a delightful cat named Milo. He wanted to surprise her with a portrait of Milo for Christmas. It was funny because I had the same idea. Connor tried to get a good photo reference of Milo but had no luck. He said he knew the perfect one BUT it was on “her” phone. It would take some skill to get it without revealing the surprise. He delightedly he sent me the reference material and I thought it was perfect! What a cutie! My deadline was not Christmas as they celebrated it before. I painted The Magnificent Mr Milo cat pet portrait and got it done before I went in for surgery. They were both very happy with the painting and have a memory to share between them.
