Description
The Dunes at Mt McSauba – Note Card by Linda Boss. This image is a reproduction of the original plein air painting painted on Lower Shore Drive out by the Charlevoix Hospital. There is a nice view across the bend in the lake of the back side of Mt McSauba, the back hill and the dunes and the beach below. It was painted during a group outing with the Northern Michigan Plein Air Painters. It was an early summer day and I painted it before the sun got too high in the sky. There was a nice breeze coming off the lake. That is the nice thing about Lake Michigan. It rarely gets “too hot” to paint if you are anywhere near it!
