White Tulips in a Vase Original Painting.
This is an original acrylic painting painted with a palette knife and a brush on illustration board. The paint is thick and chunky where I used the palette knife and smooth and blended where I used the brush. It measures 10 ½ x 10 ½ inches square so it will need a custom frame.
The Story Behind the Art
Tulips are great in any color. French tulips are longer and have a weaker stem so they tend to droop when put in a vase. A client turned friend of mine had delightfully given me French tulips as gifts numerous times over the years. I love them! White tulips in a simple vase are so classy and fresh looking. They definitely brighten one’s day. I sat this arrangement on a blue tablecloth and couldn’t resist painting it! See how it really stands out on the blue? I made the background up: artistic license!

Dimensions: This Painting measures 10 ½ inches x 10 ½ inches. It has heavy textured paint with a palette knife in areas, on a thick illustration board. You will need a custom sized frame for this painting.
I photographed the Artwork in natural light. This brings out the true color of the painting. I try my best to match the colors in the photo to the artwork. Differences in color can occur due to calibrations of the computer/phone screens, and also the lighting conditions under which the artwork is viewed.
